Head of Customer Experience
Location: San Francisco, CA
Work Set-up: On-site, 5 days/week)
Compensation: $180K–$220K Base + Equity
We’re seeking a Head of Customer Experience & GTM Strategy to join a fast-growing AI SaaS organization transforming how enterprise tax and accounting professionals operate. This is a first-of-its-kind hire, ideal for a highly driven operator who thrives in building things from the ground up (0→1) and influencing strategy at both the customer and executive levels.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Partner with enterprise sales teams to deliver product demos and support account managers with in-depth feature walkthroughs
- Troubleshoot customer workflows, identify pain points, and drive resolution in close partnership with engineering
- Engage directly with enterprise clients to understand processes, uncover opportunities, and provide actionable insights for product development
- Build customer success processes, playbooks, and tools to drive deep engagement with 7–15 large accounts
- Act as the primary evangelist for the platform, translating value to new stakeholders and building strong cross-domain relationships
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in consulting AND customer success or GTM strategy, ideally in a startup environment
- Proven experience managing enterprise client relationships
- Experience building processes, playbooks, and tools to scale customer experience
- Comfort working with technical products or complex B2B industries (highly desirable)
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills; ability to influence across multiple teams
