Key Responsibilities
- Manage complex civil litigation cases from initial filing through trial preparation and resolution.
- Draft, proofread, and prepare pleadings, subpoenas, discovery responses, and deposition summaries.
- Conduct legal research and manage document workflows using Westlaw, LexisNexis, PACER, and e-discovery platforms.
- Assemble digital and paper trial binders, exhibit lists, and witness files.
- Monitor court dockets, manage calendar deadlines, and execute state/federal filings.
Qualifications Required
- Experience: 4 to 10 years of litigation paralegal experience in a law firm environment (general civil litigation required; employment law exposure preferred).
- Education: Bachelor's degree and a Paralegal Certificate.
- Technical Skills: Proficient with PACER, Westlaw/LexisNexis, e-discovery software, and MS Office.
