The Opportunity

Healthcare is broken, and our client is using AI to fix the financial engine behind it. Our client builds an AI-powered financial operating system that helps healthcare practices recover lost insurance revenue—typically recovering 5 to 10 times their fees. Backed by the founders of MongoDB and KAYAK, they are entering a phase of explosive growth and are looking for a Founding Director of Growth to build their GTM engine from the ground up.

As the first marketing hire, you won't just be executing a playbook; you’ll be writing it. You will transform one-off activations into a scalable ecosystem of inbound lead generation, bridging the gap between high-touch experiential marketing and hard-nosed B2B enterprise demand generation.

What You’ll Do

  • Build the Engine: Architect the infrastructure for scalable, repeatable inbound growth channels from scratch.

  • Experiential Marketing: Host high-impact events, industry conferences, and intimate executive dinners to build trust and authority at scale.

  • ABM Strategy: Execute sophisticated Account-Based Marketing (ABM) and targeted content strategies tailored for B2B healthcare enterprise buyers.

  • Operational Excellence: Own the CRM process, translating ecosystem activity into a clear, trackable inbound pipeline with precise attribution.

  • Lead & Execute: Operate as a "player-coach." You will start as a hands-on individual contributor with the mandate to hire and lead a high-performing growth team as the company scales.

Who You Are

  • Experienced: 8–12+ years in B2B enterprise demand generation and field marketing.

  • Startup Veteran: You have "zero-to-one" experience at a VC-backed startup. You thrive in ambiguity and enjoy building from a blank canvas.

  • Industry Savvy: Previous experience in Healthcare or HealthTech is highly preferred.

  • Technical & Creative: You are a master of CRM ownership and pipeline routing, but you’re also a relationship builder who is comfortable being the face of the brand at industry events.

  • NYC-Based: You are ready to collaborate in person 3 days a week in their Manhattan office.
